​OCTOBER STUDENT OF THE MONTH

Samantha was born with Cerebral Palsy, It affects her physically and intellectually. She participates in several of our programs. She began the typing classes 6 months ago and has significantly improved her typing skills. Typing also helps with the stiffness in her fingers. She has also completed the 5-week employment course and is currently employed at a local movie theater. Samantha is extremely smart and driven. Despite her physical and intellectual challenges, she places no limits on what she can accomplish.

SUPPORT GROUPS

Support groups are a safe and comfortable place for people who share similar experiences to come together, share their stories and life experiences. You can cry and openly express yourself without being judged or feeling embarrassed. Support groups helps reduce isolation and loneliness. It's a place where you can find comfort, encouragement and build relationships.
